1 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Mix together to a soft dough. Press into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Mix 2nd layer with electric mixer: 1 c. powdered sugar
Fold in 1 cup Cool Whip from large carton (10 ounce). Spread on first layer and chill 2 hours. 3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla
Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Spread on 2nd layer.
Mix rest of carton of Cool Whip and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. This is to be used over the 3rd layer. This mixture can be spread over 3rd layer before chilling if you are careful.
This four layer dessert is attractive in a see through pan.
