1 lg. Sara Lee pound cake, cut in 1/2 lengthwise Sherry Preserves, strawberry, raspberry, any flavor Slivered almonds 1 lg. pkg. vanilla pudding Whipped cream Crushed nut meats (your choice) Place sliced pound cake on cake plate or in glass bowl. Wet with sherry. Top with preserves and sprinkle with slivered almonds. Next spread with cooled vanilla pudding and finally layer thick whipped cream over all and sprinkle with crushed nut meats.
