PRETZEL JELLO DESSERT
 

2 c. pretzels
1 c. + 2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. melted butter
1 med. size Cool Whip
1 (8 oz..) cream cheese
1 (6 oz.) strawberry jello
1 sm. can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple
2 (10 oz.) cut up strawberries

1st Layer: 2 cups finely crushed or chopped pretzels, 2 tablespoons sugar, 3/4 cup melted butter. Mix together and spread. Press into 9 x 13 pan. Bake 350 degrees preheated oven 7 minutes. Cool completely.

2nd Layer: 1 cups sugar, 1 medium size carton Cool Whip, 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese. Soften cheese, cream sugar and cream cheese. Fold in Cool Whip; spread on cooled first layer.

3rd Layer: 6 ounce package strawberry jello, 1 small can (8 ounce) crushed pineapple, (drained), 2 cups boiling water, 10 ounce package frozen cut up strawberries. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add drained pineapple and frozen strawberries. Stir and cool until set. Pour gently over second layer. Refrigerate over night.
