CHEESE DANISH
 

2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 egg, separated
2 lg. pkgs. refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Powdered sugar

Place 1 package of crescent rolls in bottom of 9 x 13 inch rectangular baking dish (glass or metal) that has been greased.

Beat together both packages of cream cheese, 1 EGG YOLK, sugar and vanilla flavoring until fluffy. Spread on top of rolls in prepared pan. Top with remaining package of crescent rolls (squeeze together seams and sides of rolls). Spread EGG WHITE over the top.

Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees until lightly browned. When cooled, drizzle top with icing (powdered sugar and water the consistency wanted).
