1 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 c. uncooked oatmeal 1 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 2/3 c. solid shortening 1 can cherries (pineapple or apples may be used) Crumble together, with hands, all ingredients except cherries. Thicken cherries with flour or cornstarch over heat. Divide crumble-mixture; place half of it in greased baking pan. Pour cherries in next, top with remaining crumble. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 1/2 hour. |
