LEMON LIME FLUFF
 

1 sm. box vanilla wafers, crushed (reserve a handful to sprinkle over top)
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk, chilled
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime or lemon Jello
1/2 c. lemon or lime juice and grated rind from 1 lemon

Mix crushed vanilla wafers with butter. Pat into 13 x 9 inch pan. Let set in refrigerator while you assemble the fluff.

Dissolve Jello with 1 cup hot water. Add 1/2 cup ice with the lemon juice and rind. Put in refrigerator to set but don't let harden. When Jello begins to set, beat evaporated milk until thick. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar.

Beat to soft peaks. Fold in Jello and incorporate. Pour over wafer crust. Sprinkle reserved crumbs. Chill several hours before serving. Light and luscious. Everyone has room for fluff!
