3 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened 3/4 c. Crisco 2 eggs, beaten 3 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Sift the dry ingredients. Add softened butter, Crisco and mix. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Mix well. Chill in refrigerator before rolling dough. Keeps in refrigerator for 7 to 10 days. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. |
