1 1/2 c. Crisco or butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 4 1/2 c. plain flour 1 2/3 tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vanilla Cream shortening and sugar. Add vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternating with eggs (one egg at a time). Drop from spoon on a greased cookie sheet, flatten with a sugared fork until VERY thin. Bake at 425 degrees about 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 200 cookies. |
