1 c. white sugar 1 c. white Karo syrup Bring to rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add 1 1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter. Measure 6 cups cornflakes in large bow. Pour the mixture (hot) over cornflakes and stir real well to mix. Grease or "spray" a 13 x 9 inch pan. Put mixture into pan and press out. Good to put waxed paper on top to press down on to to spread. Melt a (12 ounce) package of chocolate chips and pour on top. Spread with spatula. When cook cut in squares. |
