2 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 pkg. brownie supreme mix (with can of cocoa flavored syrup)
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom only of a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Mix oats, flour, brown sugar and baking soda. Stir in butter. Reserve 1 cup of the oat mixture. Press remaining mixture into pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Prepare brownie mix as directed on the package. Stir in nuts. Spread over baked mixture. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Cool. Makes 48 2 x 1 inch brownies.
