APPLE MAPLE BROWNIES (WHITE)
 

4 c. raw apples, chopped, raw with or without the peel
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cube melted butter
1/4 c. if apples are dry and hard type

Stir up well - then add:

2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

There is no levening in this recipe. Mix well and put into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until done.

Frost when cool (or slightly warm) with a maple glaze. 1/2 cup hot water - 1 teaspoon maple flavoring, stir in powdered sugar to make a glaze that is thick but pourable.
