CHOCOLATE SYRUP BROWNIES
 

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 (1 lb.) can chocolate syrup
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
Quick Frosting

Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs. Blend in syrup and flour; stir in nuts. Pour into greased 9x13x2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30- 35 minutes. Cool slightly. Top with Quick Frosting. Cool and cut into bars, approximately 32 bars.

QUICK FROSTING:

Mix 2/3 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons milk, and 3 tablespoons butter. Bring to boil; boil 30 seconds. Remove from heat; stir in 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces until melted. Mixture will be thin. Use immediately.
