3/4 c. white sugar 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. orange extract 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. light vegetable oil 4 eggs 1/2 c. cocoa 2 1/2 c. flour 2 c. chocolate chips Mix all the ingredients, except the flour and chips. Gradually add the flour. When it is well blended, add the chips. The dough should be very soft and droopy, but not runny. Put dollops of about a tablespoon on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Be careful not to overbake or add too much flour. I find that a shiny smooth dough that looks like brownie batter gives me a tender chewy cookies. Remove from pan while warm. |
