1 doz. little neck clams 6 lg. cloves fresh garlic 1/2 c. crushed Ritz crackers 1/2 lb. lean bacon, cut into 1 1/2 inch squares Preheat broiler. Scrub clams. Open carefully (do not spill juice). Grate 1/2 clove of garlic over each clam. Add pinch of cracker crumbs on each side of clam meat. Cover with strip of bacon. Broil until bacon is crisp. Garnish with lemon wedge. Enjoy! |
