3 lb. kolbassy (or kielbasa), precooked
1 jar pineapple preserves
1 can thoroughly drained crushed pineapple
1 can thoroughly drained pineapple chunks
1 tsp. cornstarch
Slice kolbassy diagonally in 1/2 inch pieces. Microwave on dish for about 3 to 5 minutes on high. Do not overcook.
On the stove, place all pineapple ingredients and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Stir until it starts to boil. Remove from stove. Drain the kolbassy and mix with pineapple mixture. Serve hot in chafing dish. Serves 12.
