SOUR CREAM BANANA BREAD
 

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
2-3 med. bananas, mashed

Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg and salt together and set aside. Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs. Add the sour cream and stir until well blended. Add the flour mixture alternately with the bananas until thoroughly combined. Pour into a 9"x5" greased loaf pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 60 to 65 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes then remove from pan to finish cooling. Wrap tightly for 12 to 24 hours and then serve.
