1 lb. ground beef 1 box (7 oz.) macaroni 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. salt Pepper to taste 1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese Melt butter in saucepan. Add ground beef and onions. Cook until brown. Add tomato paste plus 2 cans of water, then add pepper, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer about 45 minutes. Cook macaroni, drain and put in a large casserole dish. Stir in ground beef mixture. Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until done. |
