TOASTED TUNA CASSEROLE
 

12 slices sandwich bread, crusts removed, toasted
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained
1 sm. onion, chopped (about 1/4 c.)
1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 c. milk
6 slices process American cheese
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables or chopped broccoli, thawed
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of celery or cream of mushroom soup
1/4 tsp. salt

Arrange 6 slices toast in ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Mix tuna, onion and mayonnaise and spread over toast in dish. Top each slice of toast with 1 slice cheese. Place remaining slices of toast on cheese. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour on center of toast, spreading to within 2 inches of edges. Cook, uncovered, in 350 degree oven until hot and bubbly, 25-30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
