HAMBURGER CORN BREAD - TOPPED
CASSEROLE
 

1 lb. lean hamburger
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 can Ranch style beans
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
3-5 tsp. chili powder
Garlic powder, salt & pepper to taste
1-2 sm. boxes corn bread mix

Brown hamburger with onion in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Add next 3 ingredients and seasonings, mixing well. Simmer for 10 minutes, adding water if necessary.

Spoon into 9 x 11 inch baking pan. Prepare corn bread, using package directions. Spoon over hamburger mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until corn bread tests done. Yields 6-8 servings.
