1 1/2 lbs. ground meat 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 lg. bell pepper, chopped 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2 c. macaroni, cooked 1 tbsp. salt 1 tbsp. black pepper Garlic (optional) Brown meat, drain off fat. Add onion, bell pepper, salt and pepper. Simmer, stirring occasionally until soft. Add mushroom soup, 1 cup cheese and macaroni. Mix thoroughly. Pour into casserole dish. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 40 minutes. Spread remaining 1/2 cup cheese over top. Return to oven long enough for cheese to melt. |
