1/2 lb. butter 3 tsp. water 1 c. sugar 1 c. nuts, chopped Combine all ingredients, except nuts, in a heavy saucepan and boil, stirring constantly until the color of light brown. Cook until toffee is brown in color. Add nuts. Pour candy on platter greased with butter. Place 3 plain Hershey's chocolate bars on the hot toffee and spread. Cool and break into small pieces. |
