2 c. or 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces 3 (4 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet cooking chocolate 1 (8 oz.) jar marshmallow cream 2 c. broken nut meats (walnuts are fine) 4 1/2 c. sugar Dash of salt 2 tbsp. butter 1 lg. can evaporated milk Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Put sugar, salt, butter and evaporated milk in large saucepan and heat to boiling. Stir constantly. Boil 6 minutes, stirring often. Pour at once over chocolate mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until chocolate is melted and mixture is creamy. Pour into buttered 9x13x2 inch pan and let stand. Cut and store in tightly covered metal box. |
