1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
3 tbsp. Crisco
1 tbsp. butter
Dash of salt
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine brown sugar, cocoa, Crisco, butter, salt and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Then remove from heat.

Cool to lukewarm. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat with electric beater until thick enough to spread.
