ROSALIE'S MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE
 

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. cocoa
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. coconut
2 c. sugar
1 carton sour cream
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme

Cream butter and sour cream together. Add sugar and cocoa. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and baking powder, which have been sifted together. Add nuts and coconut. Mix until well blended. Bake in a greased 9"x13" pan for 50 minutes at 350 degrees. While cake is still hot, spoon on and spread the marshmallow cream. Let set for 20 minutes, then top with chocolate icing.

MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE CHOCOLATE ICING:

1 stick butter, softened
5 or 6 tbsp. evaporated milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1 box powdered sugar

Sift powdered sugar and cocoa together. Add butter, milk and vanilla flavoring (to your taste). Blend until smooth. Cool cake before cutting.
