1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 4 lg. eggs 2 1/4 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 c. sifted flour 2 c. mixed candied fruit (1 lb.) 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Blend butter, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Sift together 2 1/4 cups flour and baking powder. Add to batter; blend well. Combine 1/4 cup flour with candied fruit and 1/2 cup chopped pecans.
Spoon batter into 10-inch Bundt or tube pan. Bake in 325 degree oven 70-80 minutes or until done. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Garnish with candied cherries and candied pineapples if you wish.
