ROSEMARY'S CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA CAKE
 

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 bananas
2 tsp. baking soda

Mash bananas with baking soda. Set aside. Cream butter and oil. Add sugar and eggs. Beat well. Alternately add flour and buttermilk. Continue beating. Add banana mixture and beat for a few minutes. Pour cake mixture into a greased 15 inch rectangle pan.

Topping: Combine 1/2 cup cornflake crumbs, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 tablespoon butter. Sprinkle over top of cake. Sprinkle final layer of 6 ounce chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped nuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.
