1 3/4 c. flour 2 c. sugar 3/4 c. cocoa 1 1/2 tsp. soda 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 1 c. milk 1/2 c. oil 2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. boiling water Combine dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients except water. Beat 2 minutes. Stir in water. Pour into 13 x 9 inch greased and floured pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes. CHOCOLATE FROSTING: 1/2 c. cocoa 6 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 2 2/3 c. powdered sugar 4 tbsp. milk Cream butter. Add cocoa and blend. Gradually add sugar alternating with milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. |
