1 layer cake 1 lg. can crushed pineapple 1 c. sugar 1/2 stick butter 1 egg, beaten well 1 heaping tbsp. flour Juice of 1/2 lemon In large saucepan combine pineapple, sugar, butter, egg, flour and lemon juice. Start on low heat and simmer until thick enough to spread. Cool; spread on top of bottom layer, then around sides of layer. Continue each layer in this manner. Filling doesn't have to be cold, only cool. Sides and top of 4 layers. |
