BEE STING CAKE
 

1 stick butter, 1/2 stick per pan
1/2 c. brown sugar, per pan
1 tbsp. water, per pan
1/2 c. black walnuts, per pan
1 box chocolate cake mix (Devil's Food, Duncan Hines - Pound Cake recipe)

Need two 9-inch spring form pans.

Mix butter, sugar, and water together; melt in oven for a few minutes. Stir thoroughly and add walnuts and mix.

Follow recipe for chocolate pound cake on side panel of box. Pour mix over top of brown sugar mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. Remove from pans right away. Let cake cool for a few hours.

FROSTING:

4 env. Dream Whip, 2 boxes
2 c. milk
1 sm. instant vanilla pudding
1 tbsp. rum flavoring

Mix at high speed until thick. Frost middle layer, not sides, and top layer, not sides. Add cherries and nuts on center top.
