PETER PAUL MOUND CAKE
 

1 pkg. devil food cake mix
1/2 c. milk
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pkg. miniature marshmallows or 32 lg. marshmallows

Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Bake in 3 layers.

FILLING: Place milk, sugar, vanilla, and marshmallows in a 2 quart saucepan. Melt together over medium heat and add coconuts. Stir as it cooks and begins to thicken, remove from heat and cool. When completely cooled spread between layers of cake. Frost with double fudge frosting. This makes cake taste like Mounds candy bar.
