2 c. flour 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 3/4 c. water 3/4 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 4 oz. melted unsweetened chocolate, slightly cooled 1 c. SNICKERS® bars, finely chopped FROSTING: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/4 c. butter, softened 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted & slightly cooled 1 (8 oz.) box 10X sugar Sift together dry ingredients. Mix together all the cake ingredients, except for the SNICKERS®, in a large mixer bowl. Mix on low speed for 30 seconds and then on high for 3 minutes. The batter will be creamy; stir in the SNICKERS®. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8 inch round pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. When cool, frost with chocolate cream cheese frosting: Cream together the cream cheese, butter and chocolate. Gradually add the 10X sugar and beat until smooth and fluffy. |
