Follow recipe on box. After it comes out of oven, poke holes in cake with large fork.

Have boiling water ready, at least two cups.

Use cherry Jello mix. Add 1/4 cup sugar. Pour over cake good. Let cool. Use Cool Whip, 12 ounce container.
