Grease and flour a tube or Bundt pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

6-7 apples, peeled, cored & sliced, set aside covered with
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 tbsp. sugar

1 c. Puritan (canola) oil
4 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. orange juice

3 c. flour, sifted
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Hand mix all of the ingredients thoroughly. Spoon 1 layer of batter into pan, then 1 layer of apples, alternate, end with apples. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Easy and delicious!
