TOP RAMEN CABBAGE SALAD
 

2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 c. slivered almonds or sliced walnuts

Toss together. Bake at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes. Watch carefully, stir to prevent burning. Cool. Reserve. 4 green onions, chopped fine 1 pkg. Top Ramen chicken flavored noodles

DRESSING:

Early in A.M., combine in jar with lid: 3 tbsp. vinegar (4 tbsp. if 3/4 head cabbage) 1 tsp. salt 1 flavor packet for Top Ramen noodles 1/2 c. oil 1/2 tsp. pepper

Shake well and refrigerate to blend flavors. Combine cabbage and onion in large bowl. Break up dry noodles into small pieces and add to salad "raw". Sprinkle seeds and nuts over salad, shake dressing well. Pour over salad and toss well. Check seasoning to taste. Good salad leftover. Very different - exceptionally good!
