RUTABAGA OR WHITE TURNIPS
 

2 rutabagas or 5 white small turnips

Peel and cut into small pieces. Cook until tender. Cover with water. When tender, drain off water; add salt and make cream sauce and add turnips.

CREAM SAUCE:

5 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 pt. milk

Heat until thick. Add to turnips.
