2 c. cut green beans Boiling water to cover beans 1/4 c. Planters, sliced almonds 1/3 c. chopped onion 3 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 3 tbsp. vinegar 2 tbsp. pimento pieces Cook green beans in boiling salt water until tender; drain and set aside. Saute Planters sliced almonds and onions in butter in a large skillet until onion is tender. Stir in salt, pepper, garlic, powder and vinegar. Mix in prepared beans and pimento pieces. Cook until heated through. Serve with dinner. |
