1 (16 oz.) can whole green beans or 2 c. fresh beans, slightly undercooked 5 to 6 lg. mushrooms, sliced 1 sm. red onion, sliced 1 clove garlic, pressed 1/4 tsp. salt Freshly ground pepper 1/2 tsp. dried oregano 1/2 tsp. chervil 1/2 tsp. dried mustard 1/4 c. wine vinegar 1/4 c. olive oil (or any other) Combine all the ingredients and allow to marinate for 24 hours, turning several times. Arrange on a platter to serve. |
