BATTER FOR VEGETABLES (OR FISH)
 

1 c. cold water
1/4 c. oil
1 egg

Mix together.

Add:

1 c. flour
4 tsp. corn starch
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
Garlic salt to taste

Mix well. Dip vegetables or fish in batter. Allow excess to drip off. Fry in hot oil. Very good!
