2 c. rice
3 tbsp. butter
3 c. water
3 1/2 tsp. salt
Add rice, water, butter and salt. Bring to boil, stirring 2 minutes. Cover and cook over low heat for 30 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Serve hot with any kind of vegetable stew.
NOTE: When using UNCLE BEN'S® rice, allow 2 cups of water for each cup of rice and follow the same procedure. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
