8 slices bacon, cut in sm. pieces 1 sm. cabbage (2 lbs.) 1 sm. onion, thinly sliced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. water
In pan over medium heat, cook bacon and onion until tender. Add cabbage, salt and water. Stir to coat. Reduce heat to medium low, cover and cook for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
