POLISH PIGEONS
 

1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, diced
1/2 c. cooked rice
Shake of garlic salt
Shake of parsley
Salt & pepper
1 raw egg
1 head of cabbage
1 can tomato soup

Brown hamburger and onion; drain. cook rice according to directions. Combine hamburger and onions, rice, garlic salt, parsley, salt and pepper to taste and 1 raw egg; mix well. Steam cabbage.

Place ball of meat mixture in steamed cabbage leaf, wrap well and place in saucepan. Cover pigeons with diluted tomato soup. Steam until done, approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours; always adding water as needed. May place bacon strip or butter on top of pigeons. May also add dash of vinegar.
