4 strips bacon 1 lg. onion, chopped 1/4 c. catsup 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. red wine 2 c. baked beans Fry the bacon. Remove bacon from pan. Fry the onion in bacon fat. Add brown sugar, catsup, wine and crumbled bacon. Add the beans and stir into a baking dish. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Makes 4 servings. |
