6 c. water 1 1/2 c. grits 1 lb. cut up Cheddar 3 eggs, beaten 3 tsp. season salt 2 lbs. sausage, bulk - browned and drained 1 tsp. paprika Bring water to boil, add grits. Lower heat, stir in cheese, eggs, etc. Pour in 3 quart greased casserole. Bake 1-1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Can be made ahead, refrigerated or frozen. |
