DO AHEAD ORANGE FRENCH TOAST
 

4 eggs
1 c. fresh squeezed orange juice
1 tsp. grated orange peel
8 (1 inch) thick pieces French bread slices
4 tbsp. butter
Powdered sugar
Orange marmalade
Maple syrup

Beat eggs, orange juice and peel. Arrange bread in 9 x 13 inch dish. Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet over medium to high heat. Add bread to pan in batches and cook until golden brown, add more butter as necessary. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with marmalade and maple syrup. Serves 4. A little tang makes this a tinge different.
