EGG AND SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
 

1 lb. breakfast sausage
6 slices of bread
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
butter

Fry sausage and drain well. Butter 1 slice of bread and place bread butter side up in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle cheese over bread. Combine the rest of the ingredients. Pour over the bread and sprinkle sausage on top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour (covered). Remove cover and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer.
