MEXICAN HOTDISH
 

1 lb. hamburger
1 diced onions
2 cans tomato sauce
1 env. taco seasoning
Grated Cheddar and/or Monterey Jack
1 head lettuce
2 cans refried beans
Taco chips

Brown hamburger and diced onions in deep skillet add tomato sauce, taco seasoning and small amount of water to blend simmer 5 minutes. Add refried beans mix well. Place in large baking casserole, cover with enough taco chips crunched up to generously cover top of dish smother with desired amount of grated cheese. Bake at 325 degrees approximately 1/2 hour to 45 minutes until well melted and baked through. Place lettuce on dinner plate add Mexican hot dish on top and taco sauce if desired. Optional: serve on flour or corn taco shells.
