1 lb. ground beef 8 c. hot water 2 c. grated cabbage 2 c. sm. diced potatoes 1 c. chopped onion 1/8 c. steak sauce 1 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 (16 oz.) can cut up tomatoes with juice Brown ground beef in skillet; set aside. Put water, cabbage, potatoes and onion together in 5-quart pot. Boil rapidly 15 minutes. Add steak sauce, salt, pepper, and tomatoes. Cover and simmer until all ingredients are tender. Add ground beef and simmer a few minutes. |
