1 slice bacon, diced OR Tiny amount of bacon grease 1 lg. onion, diced 1 c. celery, diced 1 can stewed tomatoes, mash the lumps 2 cans cream of tomato soup 1 can of corn 6 c. soup stock, broth, or water 1 sm. pkg. lg. egg noodles 1 tsp. black pepper, or to taste 1/2 tsp. salt, or to taste Desired seasonings Leftover meat, vegetables, or rice (optional) Cream of mushroom, chicken, or celery can be used. Brown diced bacon in large soup pot. Add diced onion, and celery and cook slowly until tender. Add stewed tomatoes. |
