16 oz. hash brown potatoes 1 c. chopped onion 1 c. chicken broth 2 c. water 1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted 2 c. milk Garnish: Shredded cheese Ham or bacon Combine potatoes, onion, broth and water in heavy pot. Cover reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are almost done. Stir in soups and milk. Simmer a few minutes. Yield: 2 1/2 quarts. |
