HAMBURGER DUMPLING SOUP
 

1 can vegetable beef soup
3 cans water
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. hamburger
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. shortening
Milk enough to make soft dough

Boil soup, water, and salt together. Fry hamburger and drain, then put in soup mixture. Measure and sift together dry ingredients. Add shortening to flour mixture and enough milk to make soft dough. Drop dough in boiling mixture and cook until done. Cover while cooking.
